From humble beginnings under the vision of Late Shri. G.K. alias Annasaheb Somalwar, with blessings of Sant Shri Nikalas Maharaj, the institution has carved a niche as one of Central India's most respected educational pillars.

Visit of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was the Distinguished Guest at Somalwar Ramdaspeth Centenary Celebrations on December 6, 2011.
During his visit, Dr. Kalam interacted with students, encouraging them to dream big and work tirelessly towards their goals. He spoke about the importance of scientific thinking, innovation, and the role of young minds in shaping India's future.

School Rally with Former Mayor
A grand school rally was organised with former Mayor Mrs. Archana Dehankar, celebrating the school's centenary with the community of Nagpur.
The rally saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, alumni, and citizens, winding through the streets of Ramdaspeth and surrounding areas. Cultural performances, patriotic songs, and displays of student achievements accompanied the rally.
